YEAST DISSECTION & REPLICATION TOOLS
Our yeast dissection needle kits provides optical-quality fiberglass needles ready-made for yeast tetrad dissection and other cell micromanipulation. Each kit includes 50 needles as well as accessories to enable yeast researchers to get on with their work and no longer have to spend time making their own needles.

Our replica plating system provides the tools needed for rapid, efficient transfer of yeast cultures to new media. A solid aluminum base is covered with a velveteen square, which in turn is secured by an aluminum collar. The heavy weight of the base means that the replica block will stay put and not move around on the bench. Our velveteen squares are made of 100% cotton and are neatly hemmed for durability when laundered. The replica blocks and velveteens come in two sizes: for standard 100-mm petri plates and for 150-mm petri plates.
